Every year, our club pauses to reflect on Remembrance Day, on the closest Friday. On November 7th, we had a very special speaker via a Zoom call, and his remarkable story caused us to remember and reflect. Joe Dittmar is a 9/11 survivor from 2 World Trade Tower. On September 11, 2001, Joe was attending a meeting of 54 insurance executives on the 105th floor and had to evacuate down the stairs, narrowly missing the strike by a second plane that hit his building just a few floors above the level he had reached on his way down. Only 7 of the people from his meeting room made it out of the building that day. Joe's chilling story is also insightful about how unpredictable life can be, and a reminder to love those around us and take nothing for granted. If you missed our meeting and Joe's presentation, you can hear it in this VIDEO. https://youtu.be/csJFPtZ9Btc
