Oops ... a re-do of our voting on board members
Inadvertently, some wires got crossed about terms of office for different board members. Just in time and before finalizing results from the recent voting, an honest mistake was identified and is being made right ... with a re-do of the voting. Be sure to vote again by February 9th. Thanks for everyone's cooperation!

Guess what? We have a new Sergeant At Arms!
Helmuth Slisarenko joined fellow Rotarians for a friendly pint and chat at January's fellowship night on January 25th at Fionn MacCool's ... and before he could escape, found himself appointed by the enthusiastic members present as our Sergeant At Arms, a club role that has been vacant for a while. In traditional Tom Funk style and good humour, Helmuth found one attendee as being "Too good to be true" and awarded a free ticket to the Guelph South Pasta Dinner, while another member was fined for arriving late.

Last week, we got to know more about Jacquie Gray
Jacquie shared her fascinating career path from librarian, to teacher, to health & safety advocate. She told her personal story by means of showing Tarot Cards, a lifelong hobby that has helped her find strength, balance and purpose through many personal difficulties in her life, and she now puts her insights to good use today in helping others through their difficulties. In recent years, she has specialized in supporting school kids with unique developmental issues, teaching life skills. Currently, she is conducting Safety Audits for schools in the UGDSB. Her concluding personal story was about standing up for oneself, and using that strength to make the world a better place for all. Jacquie - what an asset you are to our club and community!
