CLUB FELLOWSHIP EVENTS

When club members were asked why they stayed in Rotary, their testimonials included these strong themes: it's about THE PEOPLE and FELLOWSHIP. 

The respect and friendships formed amongst Rotarians run deep, and often become lifelong. One longstanding member says coming to the weekly Rotary Club meeting and spending time with friends is like receiving a group hug that makes life feel better. Another marvels at the “quality” of people she has met and collaborated with in the community, that joining Rotary made possible.

All members play a part in day-to-day Rotary Fellowship, but we are indebted to our Rotarian Noma Vales for also organizing wonderful fellowship opportunities outside of club meetings. Here is a snapshot of events on the horizon, month by month. Details will be shared ahead of events on our Club Calendar.

SEPTEMBER - first Thursday, social gathering somewhere

OCTOBER - first Thursday, night out in Guelph (October 1, 2026)

NOVEMBER - group outing, to the Elora Adventure Film Festival (November 7, 2026 if we can get tickets)

DECEMBER - second Friday, Christmas Luncheon (December 11, 2026 at the ICC)

JANUARY - third Saturday, Table Games and Potluck, with all Rotary Clubs invited (January 16, 2027)

FEBRUARY - a fun activity such as Learn To Curl (2026 date to be confirmed)

MARCH - group outing, e.g. to the St. Jacob's Mennonite Museum or other fascinating place 

APRIL - third Saturday, Guess Who's Coming To Dinner (April 17, 2027)

MAY - group outing to a theatre performance

JUNE - Club Potluck Picnic
